Each annual conference is preceded or followed by a Study Tour hosted by a top global university. Study Tours, available to members only, are two-day visits to a peer university to explore its strategic areas of research, strength and teaching expertise while soaking up the culture of the city.
In 2016 Glasgow hosted the study tour, as part of the 2016 Dublin Conference.

Glasgow Study Tour 2016: Day 1 - Inspiring People, Changing the World - Neal Juster
Neal Juster was appointed Vice-Principal for Strategy and Resources at the University of Glasgow in August 2007.
His responsibilities include developing and implementing the University’s strategic plan, leading the annual planning cycle and prioritising the rolling, ten year capital plan.
Immediately prior to his appointment to the University of Glasgow, Neal was Pro Vice-Principal at the University of Strathclyde (2006-7). In this role he had strategic oversight of the academic requirements of the University Estate, the University’s Cultural Activity and the Office of Marketing and Communication which was responsible for student recruitment, international activity, alumni relationships, external events, fund raising and development, advertising, web development and press releases.
