The W100 Reputation Network Annual Conference at the University of Manchester will feature a range of exciting international speakers, led by world-renowned physicist and media star Professor Brian Cox.
Professor Cox, based in the physics department at The University of Manchester, will share his experiences of taking science to the masses through his hugely popular BBC programmes, books and tours.
Other speakers announced so far include Nicky Old of Universities UK, who is leading a campaign to explain the relevance and impact of universities. Lord Bob Kerslake, formerly the top civil servant in the UK government, will talk about the recent Civic University Commission, a recent inquiry into how institutions can serve their place in the 21st century.
Sally Sykes, Director of Communications and Marketing, and Alan Ferns, Associate Vice-President of External Relations and Reputation, will be our hosts. The conference will focus on how universities can build reputation through working with their communities and wider society.
