World 100 has always been a membership-driven organisation but we now have a larger global family, as The Knowledge Partnership, the founder of The World 100, was acquired by THE in December.
We expect this news will present opportunities to drive added value for members as we look to make the most of joint events, data, and research. W100 will be running member-specific events at THE’s global and regional summits and forums, including the World Academic Summit, creating virtual events such as The W100 Reputation Academy, and taking a lead role in THE’s Reputation Rankings. We will also look at ways we can make more of data insights together through, for example, the new THE Student panel.
We will continue to provide impartial thought leadership on the key issues in global higher education reputation. Meanwhile, both W100 and TKP will remain separate entities, with the same management structure as before, and the W100 committee will continue to provide a steer on W100 research and events for members.
